3rd - 5th grade state testing starts this week. Students present all days for testing will be entered in a prize raffle!
DFE will begin testing at 8:00 AM, please have students to school on time so they are able to participate with their class in their regular environment.
A good nights sleep is the best thing you can do to help your student be most successful!!

We had so much fun celebrating our amazing staff a little early at school this past week! 🍎 Many students surprised teachers with sweet little gifts, but we wanted to make sure everyone had the opportunity to participate if they wish!💜
Now that National Teacher Appreciation Week is officially here, we encourage families to join in the fun! If you’re out and about this weekend, consider picking up a small treat, favorite snack, flower, or gift card for your child’s teacher. Staying in for the rainy weather? ☔️ A handmade thank you card or sweet note from your student can mean just as much!
Let’s help our teachers feel extra loved and appreciated this week for all they do each and every day! ✏️📚

Ms. Chappelear’s classes took advantage of the nice weather and enjoyed math outside today. They used chalk to draw different sized shapes and then worked together to find the perimeter of their classmates’ creations!

Stratford High School Football Program hosts yearly free football camps at the feeder elementary schools. Camps are FREE and open to any 5-12 year old (male and female). Students can attend one camp or all of them….their choice!

3rd - 5th Grade parents - we are ONLY 3 weeks away from State Testing! Please see the attached graphic and make EVERY effort to have your student here at school on testing days! Testing will begin around 8:00 AM each testing day.

Ms. Chappelear’s classes investigated the size of different types of butterflies. Students used their knowledge of measuring to the nearest half-inch to collect their data and then created a dot plot to display their findings!
