What's better than cooking with fresh ingredients? Our second graders used basil, oregano and tomatoes from our school garden to make their own pizza last Friday. Yum!

Five children pose next to a small vegetable garden. Behind them, more children stand along a sidewalk.
Two children stand outside with a basket of tomatoes. Behind them are a crowd of people, a garden, and a greenhouse.
Children stand behind a fence near a building. A boy holds a tomato, smiling. Others stand behind him, one with an outstretched arm.
A group of children in hairnets and gloves are making pizza on trays at a table.
Four pizzas with various toppings are arranged on three racks in an oven. The oven has a black interior and stainless steel racks.
