Uniqua Nesbitt serves as the Head Softball Coach at Cross High School, leading the program with dedication and purpose. She is entering her fourth year as head coach, following one year as an assistant coach, and is committed to building a competitive program rooted in character, accountability, and growth.
In addition to her coaching role, Coach Nesbitt serves as the Middle School Student Concern Specialist, where she supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Her work in this role reflects a student-centered approach that extends beyond athletics and into the broader school community.
A proud alumna of Cross High School, Class of 2006, Coach Nesbitt is currently pursuing a degree in Business Education with a minor in Management. Her educational background supports her focus on leadership, organization, and long-term program development.
Coach Nesbitt is a devoted mother to her son, Lamar, and brings that same care and commitment to her work with student-athletes. She is passionate about the game of softball and emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and perseverance—core values she believes prepare athletes for success both on the field and in life.
