Berkeley County School District will continue to serve meals to students this summer.
The 2023 Summer Breakfast and Lunch Program is available to all students and children in the Berkeley County community. The program is free to all children under the age of 18. Dates, times and site information can be found at www.bcsdschools.net/summermeals.


Our school participated in MUSC Boeing Center for Children’s Wellness School based Wellness Initiative during the 2022-2023 school year. Participation in this Initiative shows our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of our students and staff. Congratulations to Coach Stevens and the wellness team for winning a $500 wellness grant from MUSC!

Last week, the Class of 2023 returned to walk the halls of HES for one last time.







Our kindergarten students enjoyed time exploring the nature at the docks and walking trails near the school and Mrs. Griffith’s first grade class performed a play on the Amphitheater stage. #HESistheBEST #itsagreatdaytobeahawk

REMINDER: May 30th is a half day for all students. It is also the final day of school for all students. May 31 is a teacher workday and the final day of the school year for teachers.
