📍 Goose Creek Elementary is an open meal site this summer.
📅 June 2 – July 24 (Monday through Thursday)
🥣 Breakfast: 7:30–8:30 a.m.
🍴 Lunch: 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
✅ Free for all children and teens
✅ Meals must be eaten on-site (per USDA guidelines)
❌ Closed Thursday, July 3 for the holiday

Hanahan students can stop by Bowen’s Corner Elementary for a one-day book pick-up event! Students can grab free books to enjoy all summer long and keep their reading skills strong. 📖☀️

Today, our graduating seniors took a heartwarming journey back to where it all began. Dressed in their caps and gowns, they walked the halls they once roamed as young students, now role models for the next generation. 💙 🧡

May 5th - 9th is Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week at Hanahan Elementary School! Join us as we celebrate those who help our students bloom and grow!
We are so proud of the 4th graders in Mrs. Lowell, Mrs. Moss, Mrs. Yates, and Ms. Swisher’s classes for earning first place in the district-wide Kids Who Care competition with their “Recycling Rangers” project!

Each year, Mayor Rainwater invites the Hanahan schools to participate in the Difference Maker Art Project. The artwork selected is displayed in the mayor's office and the student is honored at a city council meeting. This year's winner is Samuel Robinson from Ms. Tuberty's class! Today, Mayor Rainwater surprised Samuel and his class with the amazing news!

The BCSD Student, Teacher, and Parent Climate Surveys window opened on Monday March 3rd and will close Friday March 21st. All students in grades 3-12 and all teachers, librarians, guidance counselors, ROTC instructors, career specialists, and speech therapists are expected to participate in the survey.
