Cane Bay High School is excited to welcome Coach Deion Craig as the new Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. Coach Craig has spent the last three years as an assistant coach at Stratford High School. He was an assistant coach for the women's program at Charleston Southern University for 4 years from 2017-2021.
Coach Craig will meet with returning players early next week.

" I'm excited for the opportunity to lead the Cane Bay Girls Basketball program and become part of the Cobra Family. My goal is to build a culture rooted in discipline, toughness, accountability, togetherness, and daily growth both on and off the court.
I'm looking forward to implementing a pace and space system that empowers every player to be a threat with the ball anywhere on the floor, while developing confident, skilled and high-IQ basketball players. I want our program to play with energy, purpose, and unselfishness while competing at a high level every ight.
More importantly, I want to help develop young women who are prepared for success beyond basketball through leadership, communication, work ethic, and character.
