The Cobras JV baseball team beat Ashley Ridge 6-0 on Tuesday in the Singleton JV Tournament. Taylor Herndon and Kristopher Poe combined to strike out 13 Swamp Foxes in the win. The Cobras improve to 2-1 in the tournament and will play Fort Dorchester on Saturday at 12:30pm at the Moncks Corner Rec Center.

Junior Varsity Baseball beats Hanahan 12-1. The Cobras roll past the Hawks in game 2 of the Singleton Memorial Tournament 12-1 on Saturday. The Cobras will host Ashley Ridge on Tuesday at 6pm in game 3 of the tournament.

Boys Varsity Soccer beats Pendleton 2-1. The Cobras get two 2nd half goals to beat Pendleton 2-1 on Saturday. Parker Osborne and Payton Shoemaker scored for the Cobras. The Cobras will close the Charleston Shootout on Sunday in the 5th place match vs Goose Creek. The match will be played at 11am at Ravenel Stadium in West Ashley.

The Cobras used a 8 run 4th inning to pull away from Branchville 10-3 on Saturday. This was game 1 of the Woodland Wood Bat Tournament for the Cobras. Devon Hogue went 2 for 2 with a home run and 3 RBI’s to lead the Cobras at the plate. Jered Petty picked up the win on the mound. The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday when they play Bishop England at 7:30pm at Woodland HS.

Boys Varsity Soccer ties Pinewood Preparatory School 2 – 2:
The Cobras draw with Pinewood Prep on Thursday in the Charleston Shootout. Pinewood will advance via winning a PK Shootout 3-1. The Cobras will play Pendleton on Saturday at 11am at CCSD District 4 Stadium.

The Cobras finish 6th in the Charleston Shootout Black Division after falling to Fort Dorchester 1-0 on Sunday. The Cobras will open the regular season on February 28th when they travel to Ashley Hall.

The Cobras rebound on Saturday morning with a 6-2 win over Philip Simmons in the Charleston Shootout. Claire Orth and Eiliyah Tomes had two goals each, while Ariana Jackson and Isabella Graziani each had a goal for the Cobras. The Cobras are 1-1 in the tournament at will play for 5th place in the Black Division tomorrow morning at 11am vs Fort Dorchester. Game will be played at CCSD District 4 Stadium in North Charleston.

The Cobras fall in the opener of the Charleston Shootout to host Academic Magnet 4-1 on Friday. Claire Orth scored the lone goal for the Cobras with Jamie Hancock getting the assist. The Cobras will be back in action tomorrow morning at 9:00am when they play Philip Simmons at Ravenel Stadium in West Ashley.

The 9th ranked Cobras use a big 2nd half to beat Chapin 53-39 on Wednesday in the opening round in the 5A playoffs. Isaac Smalls led the Cobras with 15 points and Landon Davis had 11. The Cobras improve to 19-8 and will host Sumter in the 2nd round on Saturday. Time has yet to be determined.
